Notice of Copyright or Intellectual Property Infringement

DMCA Takedown Notice Requirements

What Happens After Notification

The affected party has the right to submit a counter-notification under the DMCA if they believe the removal was mistaken or misidentified.

Counter-Notification Requirements

If you believe content you uploaded was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice by providing the following information:

1. Your physical or electronic signature;
2. Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where it appeared before removal;
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification;
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court in your district (or any applicable district if outside the United States) and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.
